Your mail program should be opening with the draft in it.Gmail should be opening in a new tab with the draft in it. It isn't sent until you press send there. That last click is yours.
Nothing opened? This computer may have no mail program set up. Copy the draft and send it from webmail, your phone, anywhere. It reaches the same place.
